Our client is a leading global supplier of frontier technologies, delivering cutting-edge solutions across high-performance energy systems, AI robotics and advanced engineering components. Their innovations even reach beyond Earth, supplying products to NASA for use on the International Space Station and the Mars Rover program.

The Challenge

While the client’s Sales team was highly effective in closing deals, they faced challenges once opportunities reached the Closed/Won stage. Tracking progress from invoicing and fulfillment through to after-sales support required logging into multiple systems and manual follow-up with Finance and Operations teams.

Sales representatives, as the main point of contact for customers, needed real-time visibility into every stage of the process – not just the sales pipeline. The business recognized the need to shift focus toward customer success and a seamless post-sale experience.

The Solution

KeyNode Solutions collaborated with the client and an integration partner to improve upon the existing NetSuite integration to include shipping, fulfillment and invoice data. Prior to that, the integration was initiating the creation of Sales orders in NetSuite only. The improved integration ensured that invoicing, shipping and fulfillment data flowed directly into Salesforce, providing the Sales team with a complete view of each customer and transaction.

Now, every sales rep could see up-to-date deal status, track progress in real time and communicate confidently with customers – all from within Salesforce.

The Results

The integration delivered immediate and measurable improvements:

  • Full visibility across the entire order-to-cash process.
  • Faster communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Streamlined commission tracking, with reps able to monitor invoice status directly.
  • A Salesforce dashboard offering a single-pane view of customers, deals and fulfillment stages.

The result? A happier, more efficient sales team and a better-informed customer experience – without the need to log into NetSuite or chase Accounting for updates.
